Twitter is a free social networking and microblogging service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the author's profile page and delivered to the author's subscribers who are known as followers. The teacher will give the topic for the story such as the Lewis and Clark expedition. The students will then each add their own part of the story via Tweet. The students should try to stay as close to the real historical event as possible, but they can add their own funny jokes and quips to the storyline.
